Rare, exotic, and precious woods, turned on a lathe. These beautiful sticks are sophisticated and elegant. Each turned head has a polished metal collar, either heavy milled stainless steel or bronze. Both metals resist tarnishing. The shafts are made of 1/2" diameter steel pipe coated with epoxy and have a wood core. The shape is uneven simulating a "natural" stick. The finish of the stick is smooth and polished. The finished shafts tend to be less than 3/4" in diameter. Pictured here is Buckeye Burl with a bronze collar. |
